APPS- MUST HAVE 2014

I have been asked this questions severally which are the best and must have apps for an android phone.
Here are some of the apps i believe you must have in 2014. I will follow it up with post on best security apps, best game apps and the best new apps which are out of the radar in the near future. Watch this space.

I know we have Facebook and twitter for communication apps but I believe WhatsApp is a must have app. its a smartphone messenger where you can send and receive messages, pictures, audio notes, and video messages. It’s free of charge all you need is internet bundles and you get to Whatsapp all the people on your contact list as long as they are on whatsapp.
When you add Viber in the equation, there is an ongoing debate on which is better however my take after sampling both,  WhatsApp is better.

There are several music player apps out there but Ttpod is does it for me. You can change to the next song by just shaking your phone, is that not awesome?

When it comes to video players, mx player is the best. It can play several video formats with subtitles. A hint: you may find it hard playing it in the background, there is nothing wrong with your phone or the app, just change the settings and there you go

If you are into sports like me, this is the app for you. With the World Cup coming up in a months’ time, this app will keep you posted on scores, news and fixtures. The app covers not only soccer but also tennis, basketball, ice hockey & cricket scores and not to mention live league tables for football, hockey and basket.

An antivirus is critical to any phone. I recommend this app. I know there are several mobile security apps out there with better interface but avast has the best service.

If you love photos or you are into photo editing, this app is for you. It has several gorgeous and custom built filter effects.

If you like using your phone mostly at night, this app is for you. It helps you dimmer the phone brightness to lesser levels and this will ensure your eyes don't hurt.

I know there are many app out there that say how good they are in battery saving, I prefer this one. It tells me exactly how long my battery will last under a variety of situations and has a widget that is great at task killing.
However I would recommend a power bank especially if you phone is power guzzler. You can contact me I will personally recommend the best power banks out there or even get you one at a good price.

Thanks for your support if you have any question just inbox me on facebook or email on kennmuri@gmail.com. Have a lovely weekend. Peace
