The Obama Lockdown ; What you need to know!!

I am back,.with such historic event taking place, i cant help myself but talk about it.  As much as this visit has been filed with rhetoric on the gayism debate, my focus will be mainly on Business perspective,  you know me; business and its environment.

 A first in this land; a visit by a sitting President of the United state of America,. will lead to a closure of major roads where the US president’s motorcade will pass from the airport.  Police have released a more elaborate traffic plan for Nairobi on Friday, the day US President Barack Obama touches down in the capital, Nairobi. Here are the details ;

Friday:
From 3pm to 10pm between JKIA, Mombasa Road, Uhuru Highway, Chiromo Road and Westlands Roundabout. No accessibility to unauthorised vehicles.
Vehicles from Westlands to CBD to use Ringroad, James Gichuru and Parklands. Those from CBD to Westlands to use Murang’a Road, Ring Road and James Gichuru.

Saturday:
No access of Westlands from CBD from University Way roundabout. Those headed for Westlands to use Murang’a Road and Parklands or Ringroad. Forest Road and Limuru Road and UN Road to be closed all day.
Haile Selassie Avenue, Tom Mboya, Moi Avenue, Harambee Avenue and Landhies Road to be closed from 11am to 3pm on Saturday and no access to Railways bus stop.
From 3pm to 11 pm no access to Kenyatta Avenue, State House and Between University Way and Westlands.

Sunday:
No access to Thika Road up to Ruiru from 9am to 4pm.
